Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
Welcome back to Term 4! We hope everyone had a restful break and is ready to finish the year with energy and enthusiasm. This final term promises to be an exciting one, packed with opportunities for growth, achievement, and preparation for what lies ahead in 2025.
Senior School Focus: School Diary Use
This term, our focus in the senior school will be the effective use of the school diary. The diary is an essential tool for planning, staying organized, and tracking goals. We encourage students to use it daily to manage deadlines, assessments, and commitments. Parents, we invite you to support your children by reviewing their diaries regularly to help them build positive habits for the future.
Merit System Closing Soon
A reminder that our Merit System will officially close in Week 6. During the next few weeks, all earned points will be tallied as we prepare to award College Medallions to students who have demonstrated excellence across academic, sporting, cultural, and community activities. Let’s aim high and finish strong!
We congratulate the following students who are leading in each year group.
Sebastian Rodway 194 points Year 7
George Mackenzie 143 points Year 8
Marshall Anderson 135 points Year 9
Karrwii Fair Townsend 91 points Year 10
Domenico Coco 137 points Year 11
The Rite Journey: A New Beginning for Year 8
This term also marks the start of The Rite Journey program for our Year 8 students. It has been inspiring to see our young men embark on this transformative pastoral journey. The Rite Journey offers a meaningful experience that focuses on personal development, resilience, and responsibility, helping our students grow into confident young men of character. We look forward to supporting them every step of the way.
Year 9 camp week 4
The camp associated with The Rite Journey program is often called the 'Calling and Departure Camp'. This camp symbolises the students' transition from childhood into young adulthood. It typically includes activities designed to challenge the participants, promote self-reflection, and mark the beginning of their personal development journey. Students will be challenged to complete several activities and hopefully put to use the skills obtained over the year to overcome challenges both physically and mentally.
Thank you for your continued support as we navigate the final term of the year. Let’s work together to ensure our students end the year on a high note and are ready to step confidently into the next chapter of their educational journey.
Wishing everyone a successful and fulfilling Term 4!
